About this file

This document contains a special packaging instruction and related federal contract opportunity. The special packaging instruction provides detailed requirements for preserving, packing, marking, and palletizing circuit card and printed circuit board assemblies to be shipped under multiple National Stock Numbers. Specific preservation, cleaning, drying, packing, marking, and palletization methods are outlined according to military and non-ESD sensitive item types. Additional requirements address wood packaging materials and provide a table to aid fast pack container selection.

The related federal contract opportunity is a request for proposal to fulfill a purchase order for circuit card assemblies in support of AN/ARC-231 Multi-Mode Aviation Radio Systems. The opportunity involves two CLINs for a total of 324 circuit card assemblies across two National Stock Numbers, to be delivered according to the terms of solicitation SPRBL1-22-R-0020 issued by the Defense Logistics Agency.
