About this file

This document is a technical specification for Temporary Interior Signage. It describes the requirements for fabricating and installing temporary interior signs, including the material, size, reinforcement, and attachment method. The key details are:

The signs must be fabricated from 50 Kg (110 pound) mat finish white paper, cut to 100 mm (4-inch) wide by 300 mm (12 inch) long, with a 3 mm (1/8-inch) diameter hole punched and reinforced on both sides. Steel wire 0.3 mm (0.0120-inch) thick ties are to be used to attach the signs to room door frames or knobs/levers. The signs must be marked with felt tip markers to clearly identify room numbers as designated on the floor plans. The specification outlines where the signs should and should not be installed, and requires replacing any missing, damaged, or illegible signs.
