About this file
This is a labor burden calculation appendix supporting a Colorado state contract opportunity for the Windsor Readiness Center Backup Battery project (OAAA, 2010, 082506). The document functions as a financial worksheet designed to calculate labor costs associated with the project delivery and implementation phases. The appendix provides a structured methodology for determining the total labor burden, including both direct labor costs and associated overhead expenses that contractors must factor into their bid proposals. The calculation framework appears designed to ensure consistent and transparent labor cost accounting across bidder submissions for this backup battery installation and support services at the Windsor Readiness Center facility.
The labor burden calculation appendix establishes standardized rates and multipliers for various labor categories and cost components relevant to the project. This appendix serves as a binding reference document that all bidders must use when computing their labor-related expenses in their proposals, ensuring competitive equity and accurate budget forecasting. The structured approach to labor burden calculation facilitates comparison among competing bids by normalizing labor cost methodologies across all submissions, reducing ambiguity in cost estimation and supporting the state's evaluation of pricing terms and total project costs.
