About this file
This is a Contract Amendment No. 6 for Securities Custodian Services between the Arizona Department of Administration, State Procurement Office and Avenu SLS Holdings, LLC. The amendment involves the incorporation of digital asset (cryptocurrency) management services, specifically through a partnership with Gemini Trust Company, LLC, a New York-licensed digital asset exchange and custodian.
The amendment establishes a framework for Avenu to open and manage a segregated account for the State of Arizona to handle unclaimed digital assets. Compensation includes a one-time Annual Set-up and Maintenance fee of $5,000, with a not-to-exceed 5% cost of living adjustment on annual extensions. Additionally, Avenu will receive a Monthly Avenu Service Fee (ASF) based on the account's total valuation, ranging from $450 for accounts under $50,000 to $1,000 for accounts exceeding $300,000. The services include accepting unclaimed digital assets, managing transactions, facilitating staking and airdrop services, handling liquidations, ensuring tax compliance, and providing view-only access to state employees, with all services conducted in accordance with Gemini's platform policies and state/federal regulations.
