About this file

This is an Amendment #1 Questions and Answers document for a Design/Build RFP for trail construction at Ridgway State Park in Colorado, involving the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), State of Colorado, and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The project scope is limited to construction of 6 miles of singletrack trails on State/BOR property at Ridgway State Park, designed to connect to 20 miles of BLM trails being designed concurrently. The selected firm or team will be responsible for providing final plans to the BOR for approval prior to construction commencement and must coordinate with the firm constructing the BLM trails to ensure seamless connections and transitions at the State/BOR and BLM boundary lines while adhering to established design guidelines.

The document clarifies that despite flag lines crossing between State/BOR and BLM jurisdictions, the contractor's work is limited exclusively to State/BOR property. No additional information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, response dates, or contract duration is provided in this amendment excerpt.

Amendment #1 Question and Answers How are we to address that multiple of my flag lines cross back and forth from State/BOR and the BLM?

A: This project only includes construction of trail on State/BOR property. This primary goal of this project is to provide 6 miles of singletrack trails at Ridgway State Park on BOR land that connects to 20 miles of BLM trails that are being designed concurrently with said 6 miles of trail. The selected firm/team shall provide the BOR the final plans for approval prior to trail construction starting. The firm/team shall also work with the firm/team that is constructing the BLM trails to ensure the trail connections and transitions at the boundary between State/BOR and BLM lands are interrelated and meet the design guidelines.
