About this file
This document is a Contract Amendment (Amendment No. Eleven) for Contract No. ADSPO16-157096 between the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) and Nationwide Retirement Solutions Inc., pertaining to Deferred Compensation and Defined Contribution Plans. The amendment involves modifications to an existing contract and addresses changes in state regulations, committee structures, and plan eligibility requirements.
The amendment extends the contract through December 31, 2024, and introduces several key changes: dissolving the existing Government and Management Committees in favor of a single ASRS DC Plan Committee, updating audit record procedures to use a State of Arizona Contracted vendor, and adding a benchmarking services provision that allows the DC Plan Committee to conduct an annual benchmarking study (with Nationwide Retirement Solutions paying up to $45,000). Additionally, the amendment expands plan eligibility, allowing employees of public employers, political subdivisions, and certain entities not previously covered to potentially participate in ASRS plans, effective October 30, 2023, and July 1, 2022, respectively.
