About this file

This is an Additional Costs Form for the City of Pasadena's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Services procurement (P-67709). The form provides a structured template for vendors to identify and price optional items beyond the core MDR service scope, including additional Microsoft and non-Microsoft software licenses and value-added services. The form emphasizes that vendors must not modify the worksheet structure, must present all costs in U.S. dollars exclusive of taxes, and must clearly specify unit costs, quantities, and total costs for each line item. The Additional Software Licensing Worksheet requires vendors to detail any licenses not included in the prescribed MDR Services, explain their purpose and capabilities above the base service, identify product names and quantities, indicate whether the vendor can provide licenses directly, and provide cost estimates. The Additional Value-Added Services Worksheet allows vendors to propose optional services that enhance or extend the MDR service, which must be priced separately and clearly labeled as additional. The form includes example line items such as Microsoft Defender for Identity, Sentinel Capacity, Logic Apps, and Adobe Acrobat Professional under licensing, and Threat Hunting, Forensic Investigation Support, Incident Response Retainer, and Compliance-Specific Reporting under value-added services. The completed form must be submitted as "[VendorName]_AdditionalCosts.xlsx" separately from the Price Proposal and technical proposal, not as a PDF or embedded narrative.

Vendors must note that additional Microsoft licensing identified in their proposals will be procured separately through the City of Pasadena's existing Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and should not be included in the base Price Proposal. All monetary values must be rounded to the nearest whole dollar, and the Notes/Assumptions column should be used to explain pricing dependencies, assumptions, or bundled services. The form structure allows for insertion of additional rows beyond the ten example lines provided for both licensing and value-added services categories. This separate submission requirement for additional costs ensures clear cost differentiation between the mandatory MDR services and any optional enhancements or licenses vendors recommend for the City's cybersecurity infrastructure.
