About this file

This addendum modifies the Invitation for Bid (IFB LAW 26-SD-07) issued by the Hawaii Department of Law Enforcement for drone platform fabrication and delivery services. The addendum revises the required completion and delivery date from September 15, 2026, to September 10, 2026, moving the deadline five days earlier. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. Justin Hiraoka, the DLE Contract Administrator, serves as the primary point of contact at (808) 587-5009 or justin.hiraoka@hawaii.gov for questions regarding this modification.

The accelerated completion date of September 10, 2026, applies to the fabrication and roof-top installation of three concrete drone platforms and docking-station systems at 830 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu. This revision maintains all existing contract requirements, including the mandatory site visit and pre-bid conference on July 31, 2026, the August 12, 2026 bid submission deadline, fixed-price bidding structure, prevailing wage compliance, insurance and bonding requirements, and the one-year warranty with $200 per calendar day liquidated damages for missed deadlines. The twelve-month contract term and optional six-month extension period remain in effect.
