About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Bids (RFB) issued by SUNY Schenectady for the Outdoor LED Digital Illuminated Signage project, RFB 2024-01. The addendum modifies the previously issued bid documents, replacing pages 19 and 20 of the bid form. It also clarifies the requirement that the digital signs must use Watchfire 6mm pixel high-resolution screens, with up to 60 frames/second, and forty (40) 12" x 12" LED tiles totaling a 4' H x 10' W screen size per side. The contract term is from March 19, 2024, to May 31, 2024, or upon completion of the signage manufacture, installation, testing, and staff training.
The bid form requires bidders to provide an all-inclusive, not-to-exceed price for the specified deliverables and services, including the cost of the LED signs, design/manufacture of the sign cabinets, labor for installation, programming, and electrical hookup, as well as the 4G or 5G wireless data service plan for a 5-year period. The RFB is not a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside, and there are no incumbent contractors for identical or substantially similar procurements within the past five years.
