About this file

This document is a Sample Notice of Vendor Pool Work Order Award template from the State of North Dakota, designed to formally communicate the selection of a vendor following a competitive work order request process. The template is intended to be used by state agencies or institutions to notify vendors who submitted project proposals about the award decision, with placeholders for specific agency details, work order number, date, and vendor names.

The template outlines a standard procurement notification procedure where multiple vendors submit proposals for a project, and the most advantageous proposal is selected for contract award. The document specifies that the selected vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter subcontracts until both the vendor and the state have signed the work order. The template also includes provisions for vendor protest, allowing interested parties to submit a written protest within seven calendar days of the award notice, and provides contact information for follow-up inquiries.
