About this file
This document outlines the requirements for an Airlift Modular Approach Shoring kit. The kit must be capable of loading vehicles and other cargo with minimum 24" tire diameters onto C-130, C-17, C-5 aircraft, Landing Craft Air Cushions, and Joint High Speed Vessels without exceeding 50 psi on cargo floors or ramps. It must assemble modularly from 130" to 788" in lengths and 0" to 55" in heights. All components that contact aircraft or vessel floors and doors must have bonded belting and be certified by the US Air Force ATTLA. The kit and all components must be fabricated in an AWS certified shop and assembled only by AWS certified welders. Hitch pins and clips must be tethered to prevent loose articles. The entire kit must fit within a single ISU-90 container to support the 219th Regional Support Headquarters' agile and expeditionary mission requirements.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number W50S7L23Q0004 from the Department of the Army National Guard for an Airlift Modular Approach Shoring kit meeting the outlined requirements for the 219th Regional Support Headquarters.
