SCOPE OF WORK

Building Q11

Interior Repainting Capitol Reef National Park

Project Information:

House Q11 is in the historic neighborhood of Fruita in Capitol Reef National Park. Address:

93 E. Fruita Lane, Fruita, CO 81521. It is part of the Mission 66 homes and was built in 1964.

The most recent tenants had lived in the house since 2018. It has been a while since any repainting has taken place.

Project Scope of Work:

Work and Components will include:

a. Prep & Paint 1326 sq foot home Q11, Tape, Roll Paint

b. Priming and repainting the interior walls in most of the rooms.

c. Caulking the tubs and sinks before painting begins in the bathroom.

Specific Tasks:

Contractor shall:

a. Provide the manpower and labor. CARE will provide all the supplies needed for the project.

b. Contractor will inform park staff each day of arrival and departure of the site.

c. Minimal disturbance of the area and zero contaminants to surrounding area will be ensured by contractor.

Sequence and Period of Performance: Project to be completed by August 30, 2024.

Project Identification:

Site Conditions: Contractor will be responsible for making sure the inside and the outside of the house remain as clean as possible during and after the painting occurs. Empty paint cans and other supplies shall be disposed of properly by the contractor.

Codes and Regulations: Contractor shall maintain work area in accordance with the contract specification, applicable Uniform Building Codes, Federal and State Code and Regulations, NPS Policies and guidelines and OSHA requirements.

Contractor Generated Refuse: All contractor generated refuse and waste shall be cleaned up and remove daily from work site and park. Refuse disposal shall comply with the current disposal and environmental requirements. The work site will be kept neat, orderly, and safe for workmen at all times.

Inspection and Acceptance: CARE representative will perform a final inspection and acceptance at end of project.
