About this file

The documents are a comprehensive set of scoring and rating sheets for the Delta College K Wing Addition & Renovations Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) selection process in University Center, Michigan. The procurement involves selecting a construction management firm to oversee a $5,701,700 project that includes complete renovations of the existing K wing spaces and a new 4,675 square foot building addition. The scoring methodology includes multiple evaluation criteria such as project team experience, firm capabilities, project delivery approach, team capacity, and reference checks, with a maximum possible score of 180 points across interview, technical proposal, and reference ratings.

The project is projected to receive $2,423,200 in state funding, with approximately $4,337,627.33 allocated for direct construction/renovation and $1,364,072.67 designated for ancillary expenses like asbestos abatement, telecommunications, furniture, equipment, and fees. The selection process is detailed and rigorous, using a 5-point scoring system where 5 represents "Highly Qualified" and 1 represents "Not Acceptable". The college reserves the right to negotiate with the most satisfactory firm based on both total scores and cost proposals, with an emphasis on the quality of services offered. The final selection will be made at the sole discretion of the Steering Committee, considering both the perceived value of services and associated costs.
