About this file

This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services regarding the AS27-106 Boobe Hole Mastication Project 2026. The solicitation, conducted by the State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, sought mastication services as detailed in Attachment B of the Invitation for Bid. The project performance period is scheduled from December 1st, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Participation in this solicitation was limited to prequalified contractors only, and no mandatory site visit was required. The procurement was anticipated to result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The award notice indicates that responses were evaluated according to criteria stated in the solicitation, and the intended awardee information is available in the accompanying award documentation and on the public purchasing website.

The memo specifies that the awarded vendor must not begin work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a purchase order. Receipt of this award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only execution of a purchase order or signed contract between the awarded vendor and the Division of Purchasing and General Services establishes a contractual relationship. The vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project. Any vendor protests of the award decision must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer within seven days of the notice issuance, clearly identifying the solicitation and detailing the nature of the protest. Unsuccessful vendors will be contacted regarding next steps.
