About this file

This document is a Sample Notice of Vendor Pool Work Order Award template from the State of North Dakota, designed to formally communicate the results of a competitive work order solicitation. The template provides a standardized format for state agencies to notify vendors about the selection of a preferred contractor after evaluating multiple project proposals, with specific provisions for documenting the award process and allowing for potential protests.

The template outlines a procurement process where multiple vendors submit project proposals in response to a work order request, after which the most advantageous proposal is selected. The successful vendor is instructed not to commence work until both the vendor and the state have signed the work order. The document includes a seven-calendar-day protest period for interested parties, allowing vendors to challenge the award if they believe the selection was improper. The template is meant to be customized with specific details such as the agency name, work order number, date of issuance, list of proposing vendors, and the name of the selected vendor.
