About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation 75H70625Q00089, a contract opportunity for the Indian Health Service (IHS) Outpatient (OPD) Department seeking Registered Nurse (RN) contractors. Key details include: 5 RN vacancies are needed, with contractors required to have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and the ability to work in Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency departments. The contract is a new requirement, not a follow-on, with a base year estimated at 14,560 work hours. Technical proposal submissions should be in one document, with no page limitations for the Problem and Approach or Past Performance sections, and representations and certifications can be included in the pricing volume. The government has confirmed they will extend the submission due date to allow offerors time to incorporate Q&A responses, and OPD confirms all three certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) are mandatory for nurses selected to work in the outpatient department.
