About this file

This document is a North Dakota State Contract for paper procurement, featuring Cole Papers (located in Fargo, ND) as the awarded vendor. The contract applies to state entities, including institutions under the State Board of Higher Education, government bodies (counties, cities, townships, educational institutions), nonprofit entities established on behalf of public entities, tribal agencies, transportation providers, and the International Peace Garden. The contract is established as a cooperative purchasing agreement under North Dakota Century Code 54-44.4-13.

The contract covers cut paper procurement with mandatory usage for state agencies, though exemptions can be requested. Delivery terms include a standard 10-calendar day delivery window, with options for expedited delivery (within 36 hours) for an additional $25 fee plus actual freight expenses. During legislative sessions, the vendor must provide next-day delivery to the state capitol's Central Supply area. Pricing details are referenced in attached documents, and the contract requires at least 20% of paper purchases to contain 25% recycled material. The contract allows purchase via government credit cards and includes provisions for damaged paper returns and credits. Notably, small orders (one carton or less) can be purchased from alternate sources without contract breach.
