About this file

This is an Addendum #3 to Bid 26-37-1620 issued by Forsyth County Procurement for the Central Park Administration Building Renovation project. The addendum, issued on March 6, 2026 by Procurement Agent III Adrienne Trammel, clarifies specifications and requirements outlined in the original bid documents and Addendum #2. Key clarifications include confirmation that contractors must stub proposed walls past the existing ceiling rather than running them to the ceiling bottom, that demolition of existing carpet flooring falls within the contractor's scope while all new flooring installation will be performed by a separate county contractor, and that fire extinguisher installation in the proposed copier room will be handled by Public Facilities rather than the bidder. The addendum also specifies that Bluesky (jason@blueskysystemsllc.com) is the designated fire alarm vendor and that a full-time superintendent is not required for alterations, though all onsite personnel must obtain background clearance badges.

The addendum addresses nine clarification questions submitted by bidders and confirms several administrative details regarding project execution. Bonding is not required as the project value does not exceed $100,000. Permit fee waiver status is referenced to Addendum #2. All persons working on the project must obtain background clearance badges as a condition of site access. The original bid was solicited on February 23, 2026, with a mandatory site visit scheduled for March 5, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Procurement contact information is provided as Adrienne Trammel at altrammel@forsythco.com or 770-888-8868.
