About this file

This is an Organizational Chart document for the Hart Plaza HVAC Replacement project, a design-build services initiative managed by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the Construction and Demolition Department. The document outlines the hierarchical structure and reporting relationships for the project team responsible for executing HVAC upgrades at Hart Plaza located at 1 Hart Plaza, Detroit, Michigan. The chart establishes clear lines of authority and communication among project personnel, defining roles and responsibilities necessary for coordinating the design and construction phases of the HVAC replacement work.

The organizational structure detailed in this chart provides the framework for contractor and city personnel interactions throughout project implementation. By establishing defined reporting relationships and departmental connections, the chart facilitates efficient project management and ensures accountability across all phases of the HVAC replacement work. This structure supports coordination between the design team, construction management, and city oversight functions required for the successful completion of the mechanical systems upgrade at the Hart Plaza facility.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART

Please thoroughly read the following instructions and notices before completing this attachment. Interested vendors must ask any questions related to this attachment prior to the deadline identified in this RFP.

Instructions & Notices

The Respondent must provide an organizational chart for the business in a portable document format (.pdf).

If the business entity includes multiple offices/units across several regions/states/countries, the Respondent only needs to submit (an) organizational chart(s) for the office(s)/unit(s) that may provide services under this contract.

For example, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services solely operates in the State of Michigan. 123 CONSTRUCTION Services has offices in Detroit, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City. However, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services only expects staff from the Detroit office to provide services under this contract. So, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services will only need to provide an organizational chart for the Detroit Office.

The Respondent must clearly indicate those positions (if any) in the organizational chart that are vacant/unstaffed.

If a Respondent has multiple positions of the same job title in the organizational tree, the Respondent is NOT required to list all the staff persons under that title. The Respondent may simply list the job/position title and the number of positions under that title. However, the Respondent must indicate the number of vacant positions under that title.

For example, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services has four Supervisory Technicians who each manage three Service Technicians and their Apprentices. One Service Technician position is vacant and two Apprentice positions are vacant. Therefore, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services may present that portion of their organizational chart as follows:

Supervisory Technician – X 4

Service Technician – X 12, 1 vacancy

Apprentice – X 12, 2 vacancies
