From: 18 May 2022 To: 08 June 2022

SECOND: Responses to questions are as follows:

1. Are the quantities of units (listed in schedule B) installed?

MVSS cameras are installed on the truck

2. Can you distribute prints of the components under the CLIN 00003 “SPARES” list of Schedule B?

No prints are available with details of the components on the sensor ball and gimbal

3. If you cannot send us prints, can we get a more thorough description of what each component is?

Sensor Ball (MVSS)

a. IR Camera – The Infrared (IR) camera core is an IRCameras QuazIR LR SD. It is comprised of a Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) 640x512 detector with a 15 µm pixel pitch with an SCD Pelican Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA). It is mated to an OPHIR SupIR MWIR 48.5-700mm (14.5x) continuous zoom lens. Zoom for the Night Hawk system can be controlled for the IR camera lens independent of the EO camera lens.

b. EO Camera – The EO camera core is a Hitachi KP-HD2005R-S5. It is mated to a Fujifilm Fujinon D32x15.6HR4D-YE1 15.6-500mm (32x) continuous zoom lens. Zoom for the Night Hawk system can be controlled for the EO camera lens independent of the IR camera lens.

c. Laser Rangefinder (LRF) – The Laser Rangefinder is a Jenoptik DLEM 45, a special long-range version of their DLEM 4k LRF series.

d. Laser Illuminator – The Laser Illuminator is a PVP custom core-only unit, P/N 7004-19, Rev G.

e. Video Encoder – Both the IR and EO video are connected to a small video encoder, the Sightline SLA-3000.

Gimbal (MVSS)

f. System Controller – The System Controller is an Instrumentation Technology Systems ITS 2110 control board. It accepts all system control inputs from the user via an Ethernet connection and directs the appropriate components through the various serial connections.

g. Power Module – The internal Power Module is a custom PVP circuit card, PVP P/N 104295, Rev A. It converts the input 48 VDC to the regulated voltages necessary for the internal components.

h. Servo Controller Board – The servo controller board is a two axis Galil Motion Control DMC-4020 board. It receives motion commands from the system controller and drives the azimuth and elevation motors as appropriate.

i. Azimuth Motor – The Applimotion, Inc. azimuth motor in the bottom of the gimbal controls the Pan of the Night Hawk system. An attached encoder provides constant position feedback.

j. Elevation Motor – The Applimotion, Inc. elevation motor in the gimbal yoke controls the Tilt of the Night Hawk system. An attached encoder provides constant position feedback.
