About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form required for Federal contracts, grants, loans, and cooperative agreements. The form applies to the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District's (SFDRCISD) asbestos abatement services procurement in Texas. The certification confirms that no Federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence officers or employees of Congress, Members of Congress, or agency employees in connection with the Federal contract award. The form requires the authorized company representative to sign and date the certification as a material representation of fact. All sub-awards at all tiers, including subcontracts and sub-grants, must include identical certification language, with all sub-recipients required to certify and disclose accordingly.
Any person or entity failing to file the required certification is subject to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure. The certification is mandated by section 1352 of title 31, United States Code, and serves as a prerequisite for entering into the transaction. If non-Federal funds are used to influence agency officers or employees in connection with this Federal contract, the undersigned must complete and submit Standard Form LLL, "Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying," in accordance with its instructions.
