About this file

This is a vendor onboarding notice from Marion County, Florida, establishing requirements for payment processing and vendor registration through PaymentWorks, a secure vendor portal system. The notice applies to all vendors conducting business with Marion County, including those bidding on the Construction Manager at Risk contract for four new fire stations. During the onboarding process, vendors must register their business and banking information through PaymentWorks and may select their preferred payment method—either ACH direct deposit, which is faster and more secure, or traditional check payment. Existing vendors who have previously conducted business with Marion County are not required to complete initial registration; however, any updates to company information, including address, email, or banking details, must be submitted through PaymentWorks to avoid potential payment delays.

Registration through PaymentWorks is strongly encouraged for all vendors to ensure timely payment processing moving forward. The secure portal allows vendors to provide, manage, and update business and banking information while reducing errors and duplicate records. Questions regarding the PaymentWorks system can be directed to PaymentWorks Support through their contact portal, or vendors may contact Marion County Procurement at Procurement@MarionFL.org. Delays in completing registration or submitting required updates may result in payment delays for awarded contracts.
