Description of Modification Continuation Page Amendment 0004 issued to incorporate Questions and Answers
1) Question: Would it be acceptable to have one person a day to do this cleaning from 3 PM to 7:30 PM each day? They can do two rotations to cover spec instead of having two different people each day coming on site? This is realistically far more easier to hire for then the two visits a day. The OPS hours are 8AM-8PM.
Later in the day is usually more busy at this airport then early morning.
Answer: Cleaning shall be done between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm per the Description of Tasks in section C.15. The actual hours of cleaning will be determined and mutually agreed upon by TSA and the Contractor.
2) Question: There is a pest control component on this bid. But when visiting the site we were told that Dane County handles pest control. Can you let us understand the pest control responsibility at this site?
Answer: Dane County does not do Pest Control for TSA's leased space. The custodial contractor will be required to do pest control in the TSA leased space only.
3) Question: There are restroom supplies included for pricing on this bid. But the cleaning scope includes no restrooms to restock with these products. Please clarify. Not for that part of leased space Kitchen and paper towels
Answer: The restrooms are not included in TSA's leased space and therefore will not require cleaning or restocking.
4) Question: I was told today was the mandatory bid visit set. Are there other bidders being given flexibility to visit at another date then the one I was given and obliged? I had one day to facilitate this visit, including a pest control partner since it was told to me on Monday. Are other vendors being given more flexibility and why?
Answer: I advised the contractor that the Site Visit is high recommended not mandatory. GSA got a second site visit request form a contractor who was unable to attend the first site visit. GSA honored that request and scheduled a second site visit which was open to everyone via an Amendment post on betaSam.gov.
