About this file

This is an Amendment (Standard Form 30) for Solicitation 36C26325Q0765, modifying a federal contract opportunity for HVAC Inspection and Balancing Services at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System in Des Moines. The amendment extends the solicitation deadline to May 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM CDT and includes several key updates: answering contractor questions, updating specification references, modifying the Statement of Work, and adding attachments including VA Negative Pressure Rooms Drawings, As-Built Drawings, Mechanical HVAC Plans, and a Rooms and Devices List.

The Statement of Work details comprehensive HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) services for the 3B area of Building 1, covering approximately 17,156 net square feet. The contractor must perform a thorough inspection of the HVAC system, verify device functionality, check components like air handlers, ducting, and vents, and provide an electronic TAB report within 20 days of testing. The project requires a TAB contractor certified by AABC, NEBB, or TABB, with work to be coordinated around patient care needs and subject to infection control protocols. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
