Responses to Requests for Information for Solicitation No. 36C24222Q0370
Tele-ICU
1) SOW states to run the low voltage wiring from the data closet to each of the (16) rooms. Please advise if this wiring needs to be run in conduit? If yes then what type and diameter of conduit?
Response: I would recommend these are installed consistent with other low voltage cabling in the facility. We do not have a specific need for conduit from the Tele CC side,
2) Solicitation page no. 6 of 60 line item 8 states to install door stoppers to prevent equipment from being damaged. --- Please specify the type of door stopper with the manufacturer's model number. Also is the door stopper required for all the 16 sliding doors of ICU units?
Response: We do not have a specific door stopper model and manufacturer. Please consult with local FMS regarding previous used in the facility.
3) Should the contractor provide an additional 24 port patch panel?
Response: I would recommend a separate patch panel for organization purposes, but if you have enough availability at the facility, it is not required.
4) Should the contractor use the same rack or a separate wall mount rack?
Response: I would consult with local OIT to see if there is space in the rack for additional patch panels.
