About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity at Brockton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) involving interior improvements.

The contract requires installation of 227 dual solar window shades (54" high x 48" wide, manufactured by Draper Flex or approved equal) and 68 office acoustic panels utilizing Layout-2 configuration in offices, reception areas, and open office spaces. The winning bidder must conduct on-site measurements of all windows at Brockton VAMC prior to procurement. Elevators are available for material transport, but no loading dock exists at the facility. Installation scheduling is dependent on building occupancy: C Wing shades installation must occur during off-hours, while Wings A and B shades and acoustic panels may be installed during normal business hours if rooms are empty, though off-hours installation should be planned for. Room lists and layout documentation are referenced as attachments to the solicitation materials.
