a. Provide the attached Questions and Answers

Question: Regarding the Price Schedule, would the Government please specify the estimated quantity of carts required per year? By soliciting only one firm fixed-price to be held for a five-year term, the Government forces offerors to price in the risk of increasing costs over a long term, and therefore the Government will pay higher prices than it should in the base or early years of the term.

Answer: please see attached estimated quantity for the life of the contract.

Question: Would the Government please set forth evaluated quantities for Items 11 and 12 relating to training, together with the unit of measure?

Answer: Biomed Staff Training: Day Shift - One Day (there are 11 Facilities in VISN 1 that require this training) – this is to be a one day (eight (8) hours) training to work with the Biomed staff in the technical aspect of the carts.

Answer: Please see below.

Question: Does this service level require the vendor to provide on-site warranty repair?

Answer: Yes, for the period of the warranty.

Question: If on-site warranty repair is required, within what response time?

Answer: Yes within 24 hours from time of contact.

Question: If on-site warranty repair is required, would the Government please confirm that remote diagnosis and trouble-shooting will be completed prior to dispatching a technician for on-site repair?
