About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation 31140PR260000021, focused on a hazardous waste management requirement for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). Key details include a one-time service requirement for waste disposal, with quotes due on January 22, 2026, and a required response time of within 20 days of award. The solicitation involves multiple waste containers, including pool reagents and scrap lead from tire weights, with specific handling instructions for certain chemical containers.

Important procurement details reveal this is a new requirement without an incumbent contractor, and subcontracting is not mandatory. Pricing must be submitted as a firm-fixed price quote following solicitation instructions. The government will not disclose historical spend, budgetary information, or contract details. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and analytical waste stream data will only be provided to the successful offeror upon contract award, with proposals to be based on the information in the solicitation.
