About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) from the State of Tennessee for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) Satellite Service, covering satellite television services for three buildings located at the Kelvington Quad, 1220 Foster Avenue in Nashville. The solicitation requires a contractor to provide and install five satellite receivers across TEMA Buildings #2, #3, and #4, with specifications including HD audio and video output, seven major Nashville network channels, and additional news and specialty channels. The contract is structured for a five-year term, with annual service pricing and a one-time installation fee, and requires the contractor to handle complete equipment installation, maintenance, and replacement with a mandatory 24-hour service response time and five-calendar-day equipment replacement requirement.

The total project budget is $18,500.00, comprised of consistent annual service pricing of $3,300.00 and a one-time installation fee of $2,000.00. The contract includes several compliance requirements such as diversity business enterprise participation, Iran Divestment Act certification, and Tennessee Department of Revenue registration. Contractors must provide proper identification, use marked vehicles, and comply with site security measures. Invoices will be processed through TEMA.Purchasing@tn.gov, with the primary agency contact being Andrew Bates, reachable at 615-741-0985. The satellite service must be compatible with existing infrastructure, include lightning protection, and not interfere with TEMA's current satellite dishes, with all maintenance included in a single monthly fee.
