Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
About this file
This limited sources justification document approves a follow-on task order for independent audit services. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau requires audit services for its 2020 budget and operations, including corrective actions from the 2019 audit, budget processes, and controls over its Salesforce program. The estimated value is $384,000. Market research conducted in 2018 identified eight firms capable of performing the work. The previous vendor, KPMG LLP, was awarded under full and open competition in 2020 but the option year lapsed, necessitating this limited sources justification. Notice of the acquisition will be published in accordance with the FAR. The Bureau will conduct a new competitive process for independent audit services beginning in early 2022 to promote future competition.
