About this file

This performance work statement and related federal contract opportunity outline requirements for inventory management and critical supply services. The Department of State seeks a contractor to maintain an Electronic Ordering System and Critical Supply Inventory Management Facility to support passport agencies and centers. Key responsibilities include operating a warehouse within 30 miles of the National Passport Center, maintaining inventory levels, fulfilling orders within defined timeframes, generating reports on inventory and orders, and coordinating with vendors. The contractor must utilize an existing web-based EOS to manage ordering, fulfillment, and tracking. Historically this effort has been supported by four contractors. The opportunity is a best value procurement evaluating technical approach and past performance more heavily than price.
