Amendment 001
The purposes of this amendment are:
1. To provide the Government’s answer to vendor questions.
2. To extend the solicitation period to Monday, March 14th at 10:00am ET.
Please find vendor submitted questions below with the Government’s response to the questions.
1. Is the Contractor to supply generators and fuel tanks?
The Government Response:
Yes
2. Is a provision needed in the event of a power outage while switching the systems?
It depends on the outage. AFRH can handle scheduled outages for a short periods of time such as 2 to 3 hours. We are also open to multiple outages. We do not anticipate long outages due to the nature of work in replacing a generator.

No
4. Is a bid bond required for this project?
The Government Response:
Yes, a bond will be required.
5. Can flexibility be considered in the project start date to accommodate potential supply chain delays?
The Government Response:
Yes, but keep the COR informed throughout the entire process.
6. Will there be consideration for phased implementation to mitigate downtime risks?
The Government Response:
Yes
7. Can AFRH confirm all compliance and technical specifications for generator integration?
The Government Response:
Yes, the drawings and specifications are stamped, and they have been reviewed by a third party code review contractor
8. Will AFRH require full load bank testing before final acceptance?
The Government Response:
Yes, full load bank testing must be performed.
9. Are temporary load banks needed and will specifications be provided by AFRH?
No, temporary load banks will not be required.
