Proposals must address delivery surcharges and other fees within the bid price and provide transparency regarding any discounting and cooperative purchasing agreements. Prevailing wage rates apply to installation labor in Macomb County. Award selection will be based on cost of equipment, conformity to specifications, delivery schedule compliance, service and warranty offerings, and references. The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, award to parties other than the lowest bidder, split awards by items, and make final determinations without appeal.
