About this file
Addendum 1 for the Security Video Monitoring Workstation project is issued by the Interurban Transit Partnership (ITP) located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for Project #2025-11. The addendum provides clarifying information and responses to potential contractor questions about the project, which involves installing a video monitoring workstation at the Rapid Central Station. The document indicates the workstation will accommodate one person and will be capable of monitoring up to 600 cameras. Installation is expected during normal station hours of 0630-2200, and the contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, delivering the product to the workspace, and coordinating logistics with ITP.
The addendum reveals specific project details, including that the walls have ¾" OSB behind the drywall, and ITP cannot provide a precise weight limit for wall mounts. A floor diagram is available as part of the addendum, though ITP was unable to share an actual room photograph. The winning contractor will need to work with ITP to establish a security clearance process for the installation team. No specific pricing information is disclosed in this document, and the final details of installation and security protocols will be discussed with the selected contractor after the bid process.
