About this file
This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by Wicomico County Public Schools (WCPS) in Maryland for pre-qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services on miscellaneous small-scale projects under $10 million. WCPS seeks qualified professionals licensed in Maryland across four discipline categories: Programming/Pre-Design, Architecture, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and Structural services. The RFQ was released on January 9, 2026, with submissions due by 2:00 p.m. local time on February 13, 2026. Documents are available for download through Bonfire beginning January 9, 2026. WCPS intends to pre-qualify a maximum of five to six qualified firms for each discipline category to perform services on an as-needed basis. When individual projects arise, WCPS will request proposals from pre-qualified firms for required services during the contract term.
WCPS requires firms to provide services in-house rather than through subconsultants and reserves the right to contact one or more pre-qualified firm depending on project scope and specific needs. The agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and technicalities, contact bidders for clarifications, allow correction of formalities at its discretion, and utilize existing or cooperative contracts in its best interest. Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. No specific pricing terms, award dates, or contract term length are detailed in this public notice; interested firms must consult the complete RFQ documents available through Bonfire for comprehensive submission requirements and contract terms.
