About this file

This document is an ADOT (Arizona Department of Transportation) Confidentiality and Trade Secrets attachment for Solicitation No. BPM006653, addressing the handling of proprietary and confidential information in response to a state solicitation. The form provides guidelines for vendors submitting responses to Arizona state procurement processes, specifically outlining the procedures for designating trade secret or proprietary information that may be exempt from public disclosure under Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-7-103.

The document requires offerors to indicate whether their solicitation response contains trade secret information by meeting specific criteria: the information must be a formula, pattern, compilation, program, device, method, technique, or process that derives independent economic value from not being generally known, and is subject to reasonable efforts to maintain its secrecy. In this particular instance, the respondent (Courtesy Auto of Mesa, located at 1613D E. Main Dr. in Mesa, AZ) has checked the box indicating that their response does not contain proprietary or trade secret information, thus acknowledging that their entire response will become a public record in accordance with state regulations.
