About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 19VE3026Q0010, which addresses a uniform procurement for facilities staff at the U.S. Embassy Caracas.
The document clarifies key contractual terms regarding delivery, samples, and technical specifications. Delivery is FOB Destination to U.S. Embassy Caracas, Attention: SUVI Global Services, 11380 NW 34th St, Miami, FL 33178, with the 60-day delivery period running to arrival at the Miami address. No export documentation, onward freight, or delivery into Venezuela is required from the contractor. Contractors must provide one sample for each item style (polo, pant, and windbreaker) in a single size identified on the CLIN; samples will not be returned and are part of the ordered quantities, with sample costs included in the CLIN unit prices. The Government expects sample review and approval within approximately 45 days, though no firm target period is established. Regarding technical specifications, the written description in each CLIN governs over published manufacturer specifications, and items from manufacturers other than those referenced are acceptable if they meet all listed characteristics. Any commercially standard Heather Gray and Black colors are acceptable, rather than requiring a specific manufacturer shade. The specifications listed in each CLIN represent the complete set of salient characteristics for technical evaluation purposes.
