The document contains a single question-and-answer exchange addressing business registration requirements for prospective offerors. A company with experience in fuel systems maintenance and tank inspections for the U.S. military and United Nations inquired whether a local business license in Montenegro was required to submit a proposal. Fuel Management System Preventative Maintenance Services
Q1. Our company does fuel systems maintenance and tank inspections all over the world for the US military and the United Nations. We saw this solicitation posted on www.sam.gov and we are highly interested to bid this. Is a local business license required within our proposal?
We are able to easily obtain a local license post award, if necessary.
A1. It is not necessary to have a company registered in Montenegro in order to submit a proposal. You may bid under your existing company. Should the successful offeror be required to obtain any local registrations or permits for contract performance, those can be addressed after contract award, if applicable.
