| For the purpose of comparing like proposals, please use these parameters as basis for budget calculations for a Copy Test (30 total - 6 per year): |
| · The experimental design will include 16 conditions: 2 (descriptor 1: present vs absent) x 2 (descriptor 2: present vs. absent) x 4 (four tobacco product subbrands). |
| · Each of the 16 conditions will include 200 participants, for a total of 3,200 participants |
| · For each condition, 16 3-D rotational images will be needed |
| · Approximately 30 items/questions, with three being open-ended and requiring coding |
| · Will include users of a specific tobacco product. Assume e-cigarette users. |

| A) A narrow literature review consists of comprehensively researching, reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and/or summarizing scholarly materials, such as, but not limited to, peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and other relevant information about a specific topic, such as, but not limited to, the effect of a specific labeling design element or advertising claim on perceptions of tobacco product risk and harm; or |
| For the purpose of comparing like proposals, please use these parameters as basis for budget calculations for a Comprehensive Literature Review (7 total - 2 per year (years 1,4,5); 1 per year (year 2); and 0 in year 3)): |
| B) A comprehensive literature review consists of comprehensively researching, reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and/or summarizing scholarly materials, such as, but not limited to, peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, tobacco and/or other industry documents, grey literature, white papers, and other relevant information about a specific topic, such as, but not limited to, the effect of a specific labeling design element or advertising claim on perceptions of tobacco and other similar product risk and harm. The reports may vary in length depending upon the amount of literature that is comprehensively reviewed. |
| For the purpose of comparing like proposals, please use these parameters as basis for budget calculations for a Eye Tracking Studies (5 total - 2 per year (years 1, 5) ; 1 per year (year 4); and 0 per year (years 2,3)): |
| · 100 in-person participants |
| · Within-person exposures to four tobacco advertisements/still images |
| · Will include users of a specific tobacco product. Assume e-cigarette users. |
