About this file

This document contains responses to questions from vendors for solicitation 191NLE24R0001 for freight forwarding and warehousing services between the United States and Colombia. The solicitation is seeking a contractor to consolidate cargo shipments from multiple suppliers in the US into single unit loads for transport via air or sea carrier to Colombia. Once in Colombia, the contractor will transport the cargo to a designated warehouse for the Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. Cargo will include items like ammunition, boxes weighing up to 20 pounds, and various other materials. The responses clarify that hazardous material data sheets, export licenses, and other transaction details will be handled by the relevant suppliers rather than the freight forwarding contractor. Estimated storage times are under one month, and transportation requirements include domestic hauls within both the US and Colombia. The number of required vehicles and warehouse facilities is left to the contractor to determine.
