1 Attachment 1 CLIN’s 1100 and

Attachment (10) indicates that some of the labor categories will be part time or on-call as needed. Will the DOJ provide a historical reference or an estimation for the level of effort required for each of the identified labor categories?

During the course of the current QAS contract, both a Quality Assurance Statistician (CLIN 1106) and a Senior Quality Assurance Computer Analyst (CLIN 1201) have been utilized on a part-time basis.

A Statistician provided part-time services pursuant to an outside agency reimbursement-based project and provided those services for roughly a 30-day period.

So over the life of the current contract (to-date), part-time Statistician services have been provided over roughly 2% of the contract’s duration. It’s assumed that the use of a Statistician on the follow-on contract will be similarly limited.

A Senior Quality Assurance Computer Analyst has provided part-time services on the current contract for roughly a 20 month period to present, and is expected to continue doing so through the remainder of the contract. So over the life of the current contract, part-time services are expected to be provided by a Senior Quality Assurance Computer Analyst for roughly 27 months (45%) of the contract’s duration. It’s expected that the use of this labor category will be limited to no more than 25% of the follow-on contract’s duration.

section F.4

Will DOJ allow portions of the QA contract to be conducted remotely from the contractor site?

A portion of the Contract staff is required to be located at 1100 L Street, NW, with the remainder required to be located either within nearby automated litigation support (ALS) contractor space or in QA Contractor space located within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Government must have the ability to meet personally with the contractor the same day that such a meeting is requested.
