About this file

This document is a site visit questions and answers file for the 140R2025Q0018 pest control services solicitation issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation for the SCCAO Tracy location. The document outlines key details regarding a new pest control contract, including specific site conditions and procurement requirements. Notable findings include that this is a new requirement with no incumbent contractor, the contract will use Activity Unit (AU) pricing, and the evaluation will follow a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology.

Key site-specific details reveal rodent and insect proofing needs, with approximately 6 doors requiring new door sweeps and potential entrance points in the Administration Building's AC Room. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment. Security requirements are minimal, requiring only valid company identification for personnel. No SDVOSB preference will be applied, and no background checks or special credentials are needed. The solicitation specifically notes no spraying will be permitted in the biology building, and vendors must follow state/federal workplace regulations.
