| Electrical lead times are likely to exceed 12 months. With a POP of 240 days from NTP, will a separate administrative NTP be issued in order to allow for the submittal and ordering process to occur prior to the construction NTP? Or can the overall NTP be extended to account for these lead times? |
| Not likely, but if there is extreme lead times out of the Contractor’s Control. The Contractor can request a POP extension and the Government may or may not grant said extension based on the evidence provided by the Contractor. |

| Equipment prices are also still extremely volatile. Will the government consider reducing the period required to hold pricing for this proposal down from 60 days to 30 days? |
| No, The Government needs at least 30 days for reviewing procedures. |

| It is our understanding that this project was previously solicited and cancelled due to contractor pricing being out of the governments budget. The valuation provided for this solicitation appears to be the same as the original solicitation. Has the government increased their internal budget and/or IGE? |

| Will the contractor have access to the entire project areas at once? Or will the project need to be phased? |
| The Visitor Center will be open for the public. JECA will work with contractor accordingly. |

| What is the size of the opening from floor to floor where we will be utilizing the crane to relocate equipment? |
| The distance from the elevator lobby floor to the elevator room floor is approximately 25’. According to plans, the smallest dimension for the hatch is 4’ wide x 5’ 10 ¾”. I highly suggest contractor field verify. |

| Will the government be available full time to operate this crane or does the contractor need to provide an operator? |
| The utilization of the access area that was shown in the elevator room will be the sole responsibility of the contractor. No crane will be provided. The only thing provided is the tripod in elevator room |

| During the site walk there was a large trench on the exterior of the building where new mechanical equipment will be placed. Will this trench be backfilled and able to be driven on by the time we mobilize for this project? |
| The trench has been backfilled. Safe access to the area has been restored. |

| The existing fire alarm system in this building is obsolete and parts are no longer available. Since the fire alarm system has also not been certified in the last couple years, we have no way of guaranteeing there are no existing issues. Please confirm that if new equipment does not communicate with the existing fire alarm system, we will not be responsible for additional fire alarm system upgrades or repairs. |

The Fire Alarm System is not within the SOW for this project. I haven’t found any requirement within project specs or plans where it indicates that the new system is required to be tied into the existing alarm system.

| Existing ACT tiles we are demolishing are no longer available. It appears the remodeled areas of the JECA have similar tiles that we would be able to provide. Please provide and updated specification for the ceiling tiles. |
