About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation to repair and replace the roof at Lindenwald Mansion, a national historic site managed by the National Park Service. The government will provide 40 squares of shingles and work with the manufacturer to obtain a warranty on the government-furnished materials. While the contractor cannot offer a 25-year warranty on the government-supplied shingles, it will provide a 5-year labor warranty signed by the roofing installer to repair or replace components of the installed shingle roof if needed within 5 years of project completion.
