Clarifica ons Amendment 003
Clarifications are in blue text.
1. There is an existing 200 amp meter on the left side (South) of the garage that is blanked off but does have power to the line side. It was feeding utility power to the existing panel.
a. This panel will remain for the existing circuits in the 4th bay of the building. It will not be used for this project.
2. There is currently a solar system feeding power to the building. Are there any changes or modifications to integrate this solar system into the proposed scope of work?
a. No
3. What is the need for a 400 amp service?
a. Aquaculture systems, pumps and future planning for additional exterior pumps.
4. There is not enough clearance on the North side of the building to install an outdoor panel.
a. The Panel location has been altered in this amendment. See attachment E10(R1) which describes the outdoor panel location.
5. Under Section L there is a requirement to carry a South Dakota Electrical License. South Dakota offers reciprocity for electrical contractors licensed in Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming. If offerors carry an electrical license in the aforementioned states, would offerors be eligible to bid on this requirement?
a. Yes. This clarification changes the Section L Technical requirement for the electrical license to include the reciprocity of the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming. Offerors still must have an active/valid electrical license for any of the above mentioned states.
