About this file

This document contains a federal contract solicitation and related asbestos assessment findings for a building at Haskell Indian Nations University. The solicitation is for a fixed price construction project set aside for Indian Economic Enterprises to replace the HVAC system in Building 105 at HINU. Interested parties must attend the mandatory site visit on August 9, 2022 and submit their response package, including a response to the evaluation factors and price schedule, to the Bureau of Indian Education by August 26, 2022. The asbestos assessment findings indicate that 9 inches of floor tile and mastic in storage and an activity room require ongoing operations and maintenance due to their non-friable category 1 status. Inspections of the flooring must be conducted at least every six months.
