2. Question: Where are the trees resulting from clearing and grubbing be placed?

Answer: The trees will be removed under Item

201(A) Clearing and Grubbing. The removed trees are to be placed along the right of way at a location designated by the tribe. Ms. Berdina

Tohee and Mr. Lester Harragarra said the tribal members can use the trees as firewood. The trees do not need to be cut into smaller sections since the tribal maintenance department or tribal members will cut the trees as needed. Ms. Tohee is going to check on the tribal requirements for burning the excess brush at the project.

3. Question: What are the heavy truck restrictions for vehicles 80,000 pounds and under?

Answer: The heavy trucks can access the project from the south from county road CR220 and

Windmill Road and unloaded trucks can exit the project by using the road which runs along the north side of the softball fields and exits on

State Highway 177.

4. Question: Is there a borrow source located near the project?

Answer: Mr. Harragarra stated there is a borrow source located about 0.25 miles north of the project which can be used if a source of borrow is required for the project. Borrow should not be required for the project since there should be some excess material resulting from the roadway construction.

5. Question: Does the fence have to be replaced once it is removed on the north side of the project?

Answer: Item 619(B) Removal of Fence is a Lump

Sum item. The fence is to be removed according to the plans and there is no item for new fencing on the north side of the project. The fencing on the south side of the project is to remain in place.

6. Question: Is the underground sewer line near

Station 27+50 going to be affected by the project?

Transportation office which will be used to check for any potential conflicts or problems with the sewer line. The underground sewer is not shown on the construction plans. Mr. Anderson

Berryhill of the Otoe-Missouria tribe is the point of contact for the location of tribal utilities.

7. Question: What are the spacing requirements for soil compaction tests?

Answer: The compaction tests are typically performed for every 1,500 feet of the project length but this project is only 2806 feet long so the testing should be performed every 500 feet, which will ensure there are an adequate number of tests performed to ensure the necessary compactions is achieved.
