The project scope includes demolition of three membrane structures and their associated concrete slabs and foundations, removal of HVAC equipment and underground utility piping, disconnection of electrical power and removal of abandoned conduits and wiring, clearing of invasive trees, dismantling of fencing around A/C units, and restoration and grading of the work area with installation of drought-resistant sod. The solicitation requires vendor submission through BPRO by specified closing dates, with questions and clarifications submitted through BPRO by the questions due date. Vendors are encouraged to conduct optional site visits and submit all required and optional documentation to enable comprehensive evaluation.

The insurance requirements mandate that contractors maintain General Liability coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability with $1,000,000 combined bodily injury and property damage limits, Excess Liability/Umbrella coverage of $1,000,000, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits with Employers Liability of $1,000,000 per accident, and Pollution Liability/Environmental Impairment Liability with $1,000,000 per claim limits and a $10,000 maximum deductible. Broward County must be named as an additional insured, the contractor's insurance shall provide primary coverage without contribution from the County, and a waiver of subrogation applies in favor of the County. For Claims-Made policies, insurance evidence must be maintained for at least three years after contract completion. The contractor is responsible for all deductibles, and an installation floater is required if Builder's Risk or Property coverage is not carried.
