About this file
This document outlines specifications for a federal construction project and related solicitation. The specifications call for building a 60x80 foot hangar with a 40-50 foot wide by 20 foot tall hangar door on the 60 foot side. The building should be 30 feet tall with electric, internet, water and lighting installed both inside and outside. The interior of the hangar requires a 20x20 foot office space including a lavatory. Only the office will have air conditioning. No fuel tanks are necessary as fuel is available at the nearby Payson airport.
The related solicitation from the USDA Forest Service seeks design-build services for a new helipad at the Payson Ranger District. Offerors must provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to fully design and construct the helipad per requirements, including earthwork, utilities, paving, concrete, carpentry, thermal/moisture protection, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, telecommunications, access control and lightning protection.
