(B) How frequently are hardness tests required to be sampled?

(A) 5 harness meters and 5 conductivity meters, this includes all 3 resine tanks and the skid. (Each softener/resin tank shall display outlet hardness and conductivity and have an adjustable programmable alarm. 8 There is a conflict with specified flow rates and footprint required for the equipment. Resign hydraulic calculations show 5’ diameter tanks are required and will not fit it the space. (A) Can the space be expanded or (B) system broken into two skids with the single tank skid facing the double tank skid? Hopefully this would allow enough space for the future boiler-or (C) alternatively can the flow rate be reduced to accommodate tank dimensions that will fit the footprint?

(A) No

(B) No

(C) No

9 Can the 304SS ball valves be used in lieu of brass? No

10 The drawing in solicitation # 12505B22R0005 calls for the softener skid to fit in an area 12’-10” x 4’-2”. We can’t meet this space requirement and your flow specifications. We’d need a footprint at least 12’-10” x 4’-10” for a skid package. Please advise.

No

11 We’re also having an issue with getting the specified flanged brass ball valves. Could we use stainless steel or cast iron for these?

No
